On September 19, according to official news, South Korea's shared power bank project Piggycell produced over 9.4 million on-chain records in just two weeks of public beta. Piggycell maximized blockchain throughput and stability through high-frequency and urgent needs, rather than just remaining a "PPT project" at the white paper stage.
Piggycell has secured US$10 million in seed funding, with participation from South Korean listed companies such as Shinhan Financial Holdings, Hana Financial Holdings, HiteJinro (#1 soju company), and JB Financial, as well as institutions such as Animoca Brands, DWF Labs, Galxe, and Internet Computer.
