Qualification scenarios for the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 matches are designed to be highly competitive. There is not much room for error because there are only eight teams and the competition is round-robin. Every match is crucial due to the women's ODI World Cup 2025 schedule and format, particularly for countries competing for the top four.
Fans will follow, running points tables, and NRR swings in addition to match results as the event goes on. The four best—and possibly luckiest—teams will advance to the semi-finals, setting the way for exciting knockout cricket.
How the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 Format Works
A two-group format will be used for the 2025 Asia C before the Super 4 stage:
- Teams Participate: 08
- Win: 2 PointsLoss: 0 PointsNo result: 1 Points
- If a team wins 5 or more of their 7 matches, they are almost certain to finish in the top four, barring extreme NRR swings.
- Teams that lose 4 or more matches will usually struggle to reach the top 4, unless many upsets occur and the points get compressed.
The four teams with the most points go to the semi-finals after the league round, which is expected to end by October 29. Who will win the semi-final matches? They will advance to the Final on November 2nd, 2025.
