Blockchain company BPMG is releasing a Web3 version of its popular shooting game "Dragon Flight." This project will be conducted within the global Dapp Portal operated by LINE Next (CEO Youngsoo Ko), and LINE messenger users can enjoy the game immediately without any additional installation.
The Line DApp Portal is a global platform offering a variety of mini DApps, surpassing 100 million cumulative users. Within this ecosystem, BPMG plans to release the blockchain-based shooting game "Dragon Flight," combining existing popularity with the Web3 economic system.
The core of this Web3 version is the use of the already-listed virtual asset, the GemHub token. Users can earn GemHub tokens and game points through gameplay, league participation, and ad viewing. They can also participate in expanded economic activities through items issued in the form of NFTs and token airdrops.
BPM's CEO Cha Ji-hoon said, "The combination of Dragon Flight, which has 22 million global users, and LINE Messenger, which has 100 million users, will create powerful synergy," and added, "We will continue to expand the GemHub ecosystem through cooperation with the LINE Next DApp portal."
BPMG is currently developing a Web3 version of Dragon Flight, aiming for an official launch in November. They are also offering "Dragon Flight Classic," an HTML5-based version that runs in a web browser without separate installation, through SK Planet's "OK Cashback" and Viva Republica's "Toss."
With this, Dragon Flight is expected to go beyond the limitations of existing mobile games and be reborn as a next-generation web3 game that combines blockchain tokens and NFTs.
