SlowMist Cosine: Hackers have stolen assets from at least 7 users, possibly due to a leaked seed phrase.

According to Mars Finance, a user of the X platform reported that an imToken wallet user had 112 BNB stolen while participating in a Binance TGE event. Security expert SlowMist (@evilcos) conducted a preliminary analysis of on-chain data and found that the hacker address (0x8AeB0171742AC50d20884997F9f5009a233216D5) has caused financial losses to at least seven users. The attack pattern suggests that the hacker may have conducted a planned attack by obtaining seed phrase or private keys; victims typically have their assets transferred away shortly after transferring large sums. The security team has begun flagging and blacklisting the relevant hacker address and is continuously monitoring the situation.
