According to BlockBeats, on November 1st, a community user raised a question on X regarding "EtherFi may be experiencing upstream and downstream issues, as a card that has never been used for any transactions/pre-authorizations has been fraudulently used".
EtherFi CEO Mike Silagadze responded, stating, "We are investigating this matter and communicating with our credit card partners. All users who experienced fraudulent transactions will receive a refund."
