Nockchain is ZK-PoW. Zero-Knowledge Proof of Work. It's a new consensus mechanism (similar to Bitcoin's) but now based on useful energy consumption. Miners generate ZK-proofs rather than just wasteful hashing used in traditional PoW. The protocol's native token $NOCK incentivizes miners to secure the network and process transactions. Nockchain is bridging PoW's physics-based security guarantees with the programmability and scalability historically only possible with Proof of Stake systems.
