A recent report by Messari Research analyzed Talus's emergence as a key provider of decentralized AI agent infrastructure. Using an on-chain automation framework called Nexus, Talus standardizes the coordination and execution of AI services and aims to build a next-generation digital economy built on trust and transparency. As the convergence of AI and blockchain accelerates, the report evaluated Talus's approach as a promising infrastructure model that can achieve both technological breakthroughs and economic sustainability.
Existing centralized AI agents suffer from fundamental limitations, including a lack of transparency and accountability in their execution processes. According to Messari Research, approximately 45% of all queries contain errors, demonstrating the serious reliability issue of AI predictions. The solution, they emphasized, requires a verifiable workflow on-chain. Talus, driven by this concern, focuses on recording the real-time execution results of AI agents on the blockchain and establishing an auditable structure.
In particular, the Nexus Framework, led by Talus, is a standardized on-chain protocol for AI workflow automation. This system transparently manages permissions and coordination processes for each agent function based on smart contracts, and developers can flexibly build AI services by combining modular tools. Thus, Nexus creates a developer-centric economic ecosystem that interacts across three layers: a tool marketplace, an agent marketplace, and an agent-as-a-service framework.
Talus Network has adopted the Sui-based Move VM as its core stack. Sui's technical capabilities, specialized in parallel transaction processing, align perfectly with Talus's network requirements, which require simultaneous interactions between multiple agents. This enables the development of scalable applications in areas such as gaming, finance, and data analytics. Furthermore, by integrating with Walrus to link off-chain computing resources, Talus has completed a hybrid infrastructure that supports seamless connectivity between on- and off-chain resources.

This supports Talus's strategy of integrating AI agents with real-world services such as gaming, data analysis, and trading.
Mesari Research also highlighted the role of the Talus token, US. Based on a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens, it operates on a deflationary model, with fees burned or rewarded based on actual network usage. It serves as a central coordinating asset for ecosystem operations and incentive distribution. It is used across native activities, including tool developer rewards, leader node staking, and service fee payments, laying the foundation for the organic growth of the Talus network.
