My recent experience collaborating with AI has led me to believe that, more than a "tool," AI is like an "exoskeleton" for humans. The relationship between tools and humans is temporary and collaborative. But the relationship between exoskeletons and humans is long-term and symbiotic. Long-term adaptation and interaction determine the degree to which the exoskeleton adapts to the host body. And the host body's capabilities, in turn, determine whether the exoskeleton can be utilized to its fullest potential.
