Google, hurry up and release something! Duolingo is getting increasingly expensive. It's 2025, and conversational practice (and it's pretty basic, basically finished after three or four rounds) isn't even good enough with a regular subscription; you have to be a max-level user. It feels like in the future, English learning will either only be worthwhile through simple, brute-force vocabulary memorization or purely AI-simulated real-world conversations. Duolingo is becoming increasingly mediocre.
