With the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) significantly easing its review process for crypto ETFs this year, a variety of crypto ETFs have been listed. Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart points out that in addition to single-currency crypto ETFs, he expects related cryptocurrency index ETFs to attract significant funds, and their forms and sizes will be highly diversified. Seyffart lists TXBC as one of the ETFs to watch in 2026 and is surprised that Cardano (ADA) is the Altcoin most favored by ETF issuers.
Bloomberg analyst Seyffart is bullish on a basket of crypto ETFs.
Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart points out that in addition to single-currency crypto ETFs, he expects related cryptocurrency index ETFs to attract significant funds. These will be highly diversified in form and size. He lists TXBC as one of the ETFs to watch in 2026. TXBC is the stock ticker for the 21Shares FTSE Crypto 10 ex-BTC Index ETF, an exchange-traded fund launched in November by asset management company 21Shares. Its key feature is tracking the FTSE cryptocurrency index, investing in the top 10 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization excluding Bitcoin, with significant exposure to major crypto assets such as ETH, XRP, and Solana, providing investors with exposure to a basket of cryptocurrencies excluding Bitcoin. Seyffart notes that this is based on considerations of this broader trend.
Seyffart points out that publishers are launching a large number of products, with at least 126 applications currently filed.

Cardano (ADA) is the Altcoin most favored by ETF issuers.
To Seyffart's surprise, the only asset that appeared in the basket of six crypto ETFs he examined was Cardano (ADA).
Of course, some crypto ETFs deliberately exclude Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, but does this mean that ADA is the Altcoin that these ETF issuers favor the most?
