Should probably move Coinbase to the top of this Neo Bank list after their recent update
There’s two notable updates on AI:
1) Agent to Agent (A2A) payments
2) The “AI financial advisor”
Both of these offer the opportunity to drive down the cost base or increase the revenue per employee metric that Tether, Hyperliquid and other crypto native entities excel at
We’re already seeing many banking analysts supported by AI equivalents; it’s only a matter of time before this balance becomes predominantly robotic, reviewed by a few expert humans
TradFi is automating their own systems at a snails pace, given the slow bureaucratic governance. Why? Imagine decades of M&A deals bolting on incumbent systems, global consolidation tools attempting to accurately report results with the random unexplained adjustment carried forward from an acquisition decades ago
Now contrast that with crypto alternatives built on an immutable ledger and less than a decade old. No ancient baggage to consolidate. There’s a window of opportunity for crypto native businesses to close the gap and take market share
Circle outlined that they’re planning for billion of agents over the next 3-5 years, using Coinbase’s x402. These deep partnerships with stablecoin issuers could enable them to capture huge potential upside from trillions of agentic transactions. Possible value accrual to the COIN stock, or BASE token?
My bet this is just the beginning, more AI/agentic solutions will be integrated to drive operational efficiencies, educational enhancements and complexity abstraction to completely revamp the customer UX
Prices may be down, but adoption progress is only ramping up

After accidentally becoming a large XPL community member it prompted me to dig deeper into "Neo Banks" (+ crypto financial products).
I was today years old when I realized that Ripple is being referred to as a Neo Bank... it's trading at $183bn. That's 117x the current XPL

Honestly, this is the best update from CB, apart from Echo acquisition
yeah was a great melee of updates coming down the pipeline
