ChainCatcher reports that OpenAI today announced the release of GPT-5.2-Codex, based on GPT-5.2. OpenAI co-founder Sam Altman stated that it was specifically trained for agent coding and end-user applications, and OpenAI employees have achieved great success using it.
In addition, OpenAI reportedly plans to raise no more than $100 billion at a valuation of $830 billion.
