Altcoin Whales Have Been Very Active in Recent Hours: Here Are Their Trades

Whale activity in the cryptocurrency market has accelerated again in recent hours. Transactions from large funds and high-volume wallets are providing important signals about the market direction.

Bitmine (BitMNR) purchased 98,852 ETH last week, generating approximately $302.66 million in revenue. The company’s total Ethereum holdings have reached 4,066,062 ETH, which is currently valued at approximately $12.45 billion.

On the institutional side, BlackRock made some notable transfers. The company deposited 2,019.39 BTC ($181.67 million) and 29,928 ETH ($91.29 million) into the Coinbase exchange. Market sources indicate that BlackRock may make additional transfers in the coming period.

Individual whale movements are also noteworthy. A newly created wallet purchased 3.22 million FARTCOINs in 30 minutes, spending 7,886 SOL (approximately $1 million). The average purchase price was recorded at $0.31. At the time of writing, FARTCOIN is trading at $0.301.

Meanwhile, another whale withdrew 360,551 LINK from the Binance exchange. Following this transfer, worth approximately $4.53 million, the wallet’s total LINK balance rose to 806,327 LINK, bringing its total value to $10.17 million.

A whale who previously sold 255 BTC to open short positions in BTC and ETH has increased these positions and also opened a new short position in SOL with 20x leverage. The current open positions are as follows:

  • 1,182.67 BTC ($105.6 million)
  • 1,266 ETH ($5.8 million)
  • 7,883.15 SOL (approximately $1 million)

However, due to the current market trend, this whale has outstanding losses exceeding $2.35 million.

Finally, a large sell-off caused a sharp drop in the AAVE price. A whale sold all 230,350 AAVE tokens in the last 3 hours, receiving 5,869.46 stETH ($17.52 million) and 227.8 WBTC ($20.07 million). Following this transaction, the AAVE price fell by approximately 10%.
