TLDR: @aave's facing governance tension btw the DAO and Aave Labs over brand control and frontend revenue.
Here are my thoughts👇
➥ Some major whales sold their $AAVE position and took a heavy loss due to this
➥ Aave still works
➥ It is profitable with solid TVL and strong quarterly revenue
➥ The tech is still solid
None of that changed. What changed is the invisible contract btw builders and holders is being questioned.
I'm not saying Aave is doomed. I'm saying trust compounds slowly and breaks quickly. Right now it's breaking and a rushed holiday vote isn't fixing it.
The one thing I'm concerned of atm is whether everyone still want the same thing or did the endgame change...

Look, the current situation around Aave is heated, but it’s a discussion we absolutely need to have.
For everyone out there who’s unsure which side to pick, here’s my take.
TLDR: both sides are wrong.
There should be zero doubt about one thing:
All value created by Aave -
$AAVE will bounce
