$BTC Has obviously had a completely different year. Luckily 2024 was good to compensate somewhat.
Having BTC's chart on yearly candles which aren't logarithmic also gives a good overview of how crazy volatile this asset still is. It's pretty rare to see a year where it isn't up or down more than 50%.

It looks like the S&P 500 is going to close the year at a high. Up ~18% in 2025 so far.
Impressive performance considering it was down -18% at some point.
Also following 2023 & 2024 which were up 24% and 23% respectively.
