My greatest skill is being able to outperform in any market condition. No one taught me this. It didn't come from a course. It didn't come from a book. I learned it on my own. By pouring my heart and soul into charts for twenty years. By making mistakes. By losing. By understanding. By correcting. By repeating. That's where you really learn. Not when everything is going up. But when the market puts you in a difficult position and you are forced to become better in order to survive.
