On December 25th in Hanoi, FPT Group and GELEX Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the field of blockchain technology.
According to the signed agreement, FPT and GELEX have agreed to comprehensive cooperation in the blockchain field, not only within Vietnam but also targeting the international market. The two corporations aim to jointly research, develop, and implement new business models centered around digital assets, while also building blockchain solutions to serve business operations, finance, and governance. The focus of the cooperation lies in transforming blockchain from an experimental technology into a practical application infrastructure capable of deep integration into each party's existing ecosystem to enhance operational efficiency and create long-term value.

In addition, FPT also announced a collaboration with VIX Crypto Asset Exchange Joint Stock Company (VIVEX), a unit directly related to VIX Securities, to prepare the technology platform for a cryptocurrency exchange in Vietnam. As a technology partner, FPT will advise on the overall architecture, design the system, and build the core technology infrastructure for the VIXEX exchange. This is XEM the first concrete product realizing the blockchain cooperation strategy, and demonstrates that FPT is not just researching but is ready to move into practical implementation.
A representative from VIXEX stated that the combination of FPT's technological capabilities and experience in implementing large-scale projects with the vision of building a safe, transparent, and legally compliant cryptocurrency exchange will create a foundation for in-depth development. The goal is not only to provide a trading platform but also to optimize user experience, enhance security, and meet international risk management standards – something the Vietnamese digital asset market currently lacks.
