Strata Season 1 - Epoch 2, Multi-Market Expansion, and TGE Strata is a protocol that divides the risk of yield-bearing assets into: - I want to receive stable interest in exchange for less; - I want to receive more when it's riskier, but I want to receive more when it's more risky. Ethena was supposed to leave Converge as a backer, but when Converge fizzled out, I barely escaped and somehow managed to survive until now. As always, the strong are the ones who survive. Strata has now concluded Season 1 - Epoch 1 and will now proceed with Season 1 - Epoch 2 before TGE. The main focus is "Multi-Market Expansion." This shows a lot of hard work (unless I'm lying). In addition to Ethena, they're collaborating with a huge number of projects, including Superstate, Morpho, Euler, Midas, Upshift, Veda, Huperliquid/Lighter/HeENA/Ethereal Vault, Axis, Neutrl, Maple, Daylight, Wildcat, and USDai. It's unclear whether all the mentioned projects will be released by dividing the yield-bearing assets into risk tranches. However, as with Epoch 1, there are also possible projects: - InfiniFi, Reservoir, Yuzu, etc., which incorporate Strata SR products as assets; - Projects listing Strata products on the market, such as Pendle, Morpho, Fluid, Euler, August, and Fusion. Like other projects, while the idea of Hari HLP/Reiter LLP as a product seems promising, I'm also curious to see how they'll be structured, as maintaining the stability of the SR side would significantly increase the volatility of the JR side. If these Strata products are combined with Pendle, we'll see the emergence of more dynamic interest-bearing products, especially with the influx of institutional funds, which will provide more stable products. This could open up a path for retail investors to earn higher yields (or perhaps become suckers for them), even if they take on more risk.
