Quick clarification on market seeding & odds because there’s some confusion 👇 Prediction markets using LMSR always start at 50/50 by design. If you want different starting odds, the only way is to place initial buys to move the price. Some markets should not start at 50/50. Example: “Will X finish top 5?” The true starting odds are often closer to 1.2–1.3 on NO, not 2.0. So what we do: •We seed the market with an internal account to move odds to a more realistic starting price •This is not trading, not privileged access, just mechanical price initialization To avoid confusion: •We’ll hide the seeding account (Zilly) from the UI •This removes the impression that someone is “getting better odds” or front-running Why this matters: •Starting at unrealistic odds can make the platform lose money if the outcome resolves early with low volume •Seeding closer-to-fair odds reduces that risk and keeps markets sustainable Happy to answer other questions about this!

interesting to see Zilly was able to get the best odds on whether or not Greg would finish #1 this tournament cc: @visavi_eth @p_hadzhiev @franzfarm x.com/gator_ft/statu…
