Entering 2026, Nvidia (NVDA) is one of the hottest prospects on the AI/tech stock market, in part due to heightened demand out of China. New stock forecasts for Nvidia (NVDA) have emerged on Wall Street, predicting an upside of around 50% from current levels. Nvidia (NVDA) stock has seen steady growth since 2025, up over 40% year-to-date. Now, its return to China is expected to be a further catalyst for the stock to hit $300 and beyond very soon.
Nvidia is planning to increase its H200 chip production to meet the robust demand from its largest customer base, China. President Donald Trump gave the green light for chip sales to approved Chinese companies, with Nvidia giving 25% of profits to the U.S. government. Now, all focus is on Nvidia’s stock prospects as an increase in sales could benefit its price. The potential for Nvidia in China is one of many reasons why several NVDA forecasts on Wall Street have been hiked.
Still, outside of China, analysts expect investors to seek more stock catalysts at the CES tech trade show on Monday in Las Vegas. Chief Executive Jensen Huang is expected to address such topics as AI robotics, simulation, content creation, and gaming. A big announcement could spark NVDA to surge or alternatively dip, depending on how investors react. Most big Jensen Huang announcements in 2025 were catalysts for NVDA stock, and next week may prove no different. Nvidia is the head of the AI boom, and that’s expected to continue this year.
