- Performance: The NEAR network has achieved a landmark achievement in scalability, enabling a million transactions per second (1M TPS) capacity, supporting large-scale decentralized applications and AI-native services.
- Cross-chain: Through NEAR Intents and the cross-chain execution framework, the protocol has facilitated over $7 billion in cross-chain transactions, enhancing interoperability with other chains.
- Other: NEAR has made substantial progress in private AI infrastructure, chain abstraction, and multi-protocol compatibility, laying the foundation for the deployment and operation of AI-native dApps.
2026 Outlook: NEAR stated that it will use the 2025 delivery as a foundation, shifting its focus to "scaling up to handle larger transaction volumes + ecosystem-wide economic alignment," and continuing to advance productization and ecosystem expansion around the two main lines of "chain abstraction/cross-chain UX" and "private AI."
