I'm not sure about anything else, but I've been urging people I met on Perp-Dex Day to do Variational and file a claim if it doesn't work out. It's been a while, so I'm really proud of it. (Don't file a claim anymore.) I recommend giving the soon-to-be-announced OLP deposit a try once it's publicly available. The structure may be different from other LP rates and risks, so we'll have to wait and see how it turns out. The biggest pillar of the Variational point rule seems to be: It doesn't matter when you start, early users are given priority.
