Twitter often says that the best days of airdrops are over and that 2025 will be another tough year for airdrop studios, but that's not always the case.
We've seen this cycle repeat itself time and time again. Every year people complain about terrible airdrops, getting harvested, and wasting time.
However, for some reason, there is always a small group of people who can earn five to six figures every year, and it's not just the influential ones.
On-chain players are still earning substantial profits; for example, @sam6170 earned over $600,000 from Hyperlane S2.
Those who participated in Lighter also earned five to six figures, with some even reaching seven figures by the end of 2025.
This game is difficult, so make the most of your strengths.
You can't win everything, so only invest what you can afford to lose, including your time, money, and energy.
Take 80% of your profits, reinvest 20% or less (if necessary), and then continue to strengthen your advantage.
If you want to play this game, you need advantages:
• Influence on the X platform
• On-chain skills
Sufficient liquidity
• Working diligently on Discord
• Early enough and persistent enough
Whatever it is, understand your strengths and double down on them.
New Year Airdrop Project List
Base : The BASE token has been confirmed. Wallets that interact early will be given priority to contribute to X and the Base App, becoming builders of the Base ecosystem.
Hyperliquid S2 : Just like CBB said, I believe in invisible credits. I have a target transaction volume in mind, and I'm also focused on becoming an active wallet on HyperEVM.
Hyperunit : This project is all about burning through transaction fees. It involves creating spot trading volume using Hyperunit assets on HL and depositing directly through their interface.
Conduit : A Caldera-like infrastructure, so the gameplay is the same. Use its chains as much as possible, and if possible, I will provide liquidity on some chains and mention them on X.
Jumper : Perform more cross-chain jumps to earn monthly XP. See @sam6170's pinned post for a guide.
Project X : Trade, provide liquidity, and earn credits.
Humanoid : Robotics technology, costing $0. Complete tasks, earn points, and recommend to friends.
Nansen : I have about 7,000 wallets in total, and I spent about $125 to get 2,000+ NXP credits.
Abstract : I have never taken this project seriously enough.
Ethgas : Cost $0, funding $12 million. This protocol calculates the gas fees you spend on Ethereum and rewards you with tokens.
Espresso : Snapshot taken, inspector out. Token Generation Event (TGE) should have been in the first quarter of this year, but it might be a bit late now.
Datahive : A DePIN project that raised $3.5 million in seed funding with zero upfront costs. Sign up with your email address.
Titan Exchange : Raised $7 million in seed funding; an aggregator on Solana. Essentially, it boosts trading volume; my target is $1 million. Incidentally, it's on the Solana chain, so transaction fees are friendly.
Codex : Still in its early stages, a stablecoin chain for Ethereum. Its founders previously worked at Optimism, completing their guild tasks.
Polymer Labs : Just an interoperability infrastructure, $26 million in funding. This project might require some on-chain skills and some work on Discord; it's in the second tier on my list.
Layerzero S2 : The ultimate answer to interoperability, ZRO price remains healthy. An S2 airdrop may still not happen this year, but it will definitely come, continuing to burn through fees.
Sentient agi : Their Kaito social campaign is still ongoing, despite releasing the checker over 50 days ago. The Token Generation Event (TGE) is likely to occur in the first quarter of this year.
Soso Value S2 : Cost $0, they are allocating $30 million for the second quarter airdrop.
Ink Chain : An L2 chain built by Kraken. I did some of their on-chain tasks last year. It's in the third tier on my list.
Orbt protocol : This is another potential airdrop with zero cost, where you can earn ORB credits simply by connecting your X account and wallet.
Rabby Wallet : They're hinting that the token is coming soon.
Kaito S2 : This project may never happen, but I'm still crazy enough to put it on my list because I can earn points by being active on X.
Moonbirds : This is one of those random airdrops given to Web 3 users, and I've already received about 5 Moonbird badges. The Token Generation Event (TGE) will occur in the first quarter of this year.
Pi Squared : Payment infrastructure, raised $12.5 million.
Bungee : Bungee has been around for a while, and I occasionally use this interoperability project.
Fluent : To be honest, this project may eventually have a pre-sale, and their founders have confirmed that the Fluent mainnet will launch in the first quarter of this year.
Seismic : Privacy infrastructure for fintech, they've raised $17 million in seed funding. Get their Discord role or contribute on X.
Encryption is the future
We've heard it, we've said it, and we firmly believe it: cryptocurrency is the future of finance.
But for some reason, it doesn't quite feel like that yet.
Don't strive to be one of those who only complain about airdrops; instead, optimize and position yourself to become one of the few who can still earn five to six figures by the end of the year.
