PANews reported on January 10th that crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett stated on the X platform that a new advocacy group called the "Investors For Transparency" ran ads during primetime on Fox News, urging viewers to oppose the DeFi provisions in the upcoming cryptocurrency market structure bill. Just one week later, senators will vote on the bill in the relevant committee. The DeFi provisions have been one of the most controversial parts of the bill, sparking heated debate among legislators, traditional finance (TradFi), and within the crypto industry.
