The potential impact is slowed Babylon Genesis block time. The Bitcoin staking protocol and the staked Bitcoin is not affected whatsoever. • The issue is not an active vulnerability in the current network. • The fix was deployed via the v4.2 Genesis upgrade on 4 Dec 2025 at 10:30am UTC. v4.2 associated governance proposal: babylon.explorers.guru/proposa...
