This asset class is permanently cooked if buybacks remain the prevailing narrative.
“We got here because teams would spend all the money on themselves…”
Buybacks do not solve the issue of a shitty team. If buybacks are the only thing preventing you from being rugged by the team, then you should not invest in that token in the first place because they will surely find another way to rug you.
Ultimately, the demands from CT for buybacks will just end up handicapping the growth of this industry.

Killing the buyback narrative would be a huge mistake
We got here because teams would spend all the money on themselves, leaving token holders ruined
“Reinvest” for most will just be that all over again
Only time we should cheer for “reinvest” is when there’s sufficient
Then let's get this market structure bill passed so we have some more clarity on what types of tokens, token sales and fee distribution are permitted.
