The problem in Indian Space is that our Cadence is low. Not just launch cadence but also satellite building cadence. We cannot manufacture satellites rapidly. When strategic sats are lost, there is no coming back fast. It will take its own sweet time simply because we can’t manufacture sats fast enough. On the other hand, Indian defence simply does not have any option as of today. Defence and the Govt is trying to build the private sector in parallel so that more choices are there. From here on, we need to work really hard to augment Indian space capabilities.
