Any good doctor knows well the importance of the MED.  Too much is as bad or worse as too little. How refreshing to see a regulator clearly communicate the same.

The @CFTC’s approach will be to deliver the minimum effective dose of regulation — nothing more and nothing less.
The agency’s policymaking divisions will develop clear rules of the road for market participants that will be codified through notice-and-comment rulemaking. /10
