According to ChainCatcher, market sources indicate that the number of ETH waiting to join the Ethereum PoS network has been steadily increasing since December 26, 2025, currently standing at 3,068,886, a new high since 2023, worth approximately $8.98 billion. The estimated activation delay is approximately 53 days and 7 hours.
This reflects the continued strong demand for staking, primarily due to Ethereum treasury companies and institutions such as BitMine staking large amounts of ETH recently. On-chain data shows that BitMine has currently staked a total of 1,943,200 ETH, with a total value of approximately $5.69 billion. Meanwhile, the Ethereum PoS network's staking exit queue has been cleared, and there are currently no large numbers of users choosing to redeem ETH from their stakes. This means that stakers can now withdraw their ETH almost immediately.
