Talus Weekly Update – W4 2026 > Product & Protocol Reviewed the http:/Idol.fun and Tallys AvA game design, and Takeover campaign with concrete product feedback, while advancing core infra work including deposit pool, auto-harvesting pre-design, delegation logic research, async ledger updates, and multiple deep code reviews across Nexus, tooling, and infra. > Infra & Security Unblocked a critical MPCVault limitation by reverse-engineering their closed-source signer and deploying a fully compatible Rust replacement, enabling reliable Sui package deploys, upgrades, and executions beyond simple transfers. > Engineering Execution Significant progress across Talus protocol and SDKs with derived object migrations, tool registry updates, improved leader <--> tool communication, stronger at-rest encryption, and early redesign work on leader <--> user session security to better meet system constraints. > Marketing & Content Published multiple X posts clarifying Talus’ agent narrative, edited and advanced the Case for Talus and Agent series, finalized campaign processes, and prepared content for the Korea event to align narrative, product, and audience. > Product & Consumer (http:/Idol.fun) Kicked off planning for a publicly playable version, reached ~75% completion of the http:/Idol.fun whitepaper, continued Kash integration and Lilypad Legends collaboration, and scoped the Staking Bonus campaign end-to-end with engineering readiness. > BD & Ecosystem Reviewed and counter-scoped Cysic’s proposal for a longer-term partnership, supported BD prep for the offsite, advanced Korean event planning (legal, panels, NFT verification), and continued HK event outreach and local coordination. > Offsite Execution Offsite agenda and structure are were done, with presentations in progress and focused on tightening decision-making, ownership, and execution alignment across the team. Travel slowed execution slightly, but momentum remains strong—having the full team together in person should meaningfully accelerate alignment and shipping. We’re entering the offsite with real momentum across infra, product, and narrative... exactly the setup needed to turn focus into compounding execution.
