my favourite line from this piece is: “No serious country optimizes its states at the expense of its national market.” because it sounds so obvious, but it’s been the root problem of CTs political discourse: “my chain is better your chain” or “xyz’s foundation got abc right” but at the end of the day, it’s not a question of which state you’re in if we’re all a part of the same nation. networks are the State at a federal level (with a capital S), whereas each state (lowercase) forms just one part of the whole. you’re either bought in to onchain principles or not. you’re either in tradfi or defi, the glue in between enables travel between both States. but we can’t stay divided on the smallest of principles if what we mean to achieve collectively is so much greater. twitter.com/0xDamian0x/status/...
