either get a cheap computer and just run cloud models
or go all-in to run the best open-source LLMs (which won’t be cheap!!)
don’t midcurve it

I've been running mine out of a thinkpad lenovo i bought 2 years ago. you can get the same for <$400 probably
opus 4.5, and the best AI models are closed source behind API. open-source models are, to my knowledge, not good enough to
