Bitcoin Exchange Coinbase Announces Adding Two Altcoins to its Listing Roadmap! Here Are the Details

US-based cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase continues to expand its product and asset diversity. In its latest announcement, the company stated that it has added DeepBook ($DEEP) and Walrus ($WAL) tokens to its official asset listing roadmap.

This development has been interpreted as bringing these projects one step closer to being listed on the Coinbase platform.

According to information shared by Coinbase, the launch date for trading on $DEEP and $WAL has not yet been finalized. Trading will begin only after sufficient market maker support is secured and the necessary technical infrastructure is ready. Coinbase stated that the launch date will be announced separately once these conditions are met.

Exchange officials also emphasize that the assets added to the listing roadmap have undergone Coinbase’s review process, but this does not automatically mean a definite listing.

The process involves a detailed examination of projects’ liquidity status, network security, regulatory compliance, and potential risks to users. This approach is seen as an indication that Coinbase is pursuing a more cautious and transparent listing policy.

DeepBook ($DEEP) and Walrus ($WAL) are among the projects that have recently attracted attention in different blockchain ecosystems. Their inclusion in the Coinbase roadmap has increased their visibility and has become a closely watched development for investors.

However, experts remind users that being included in the roadmap alone does not constitute investment advice and that they should wait for official announcements before trading begins.

Coinbase’s move is particularly significant because it comes at a time when expectations of a recovery in global crypto markets are being revived.
