I started to appreciate the planning phases of vibe coding. A few steps I can go through: 1. Research, with making notes and having Claude Code dump these in a folder. 2. Planning phase, where I do a long term plan 3. Then for each individual phase in the dev, there is a Planning phase for that single phase with all features 4. Bug fixes and adjustments also start with a planning phase, but might be resolved directly. This is the only instance where plan mode could potentially directly go into execution. Then if I think of new features/phases or see new cool ideas online, I can always merge them in the long term plan or as small features in a plan (back to step 1). After these 3 steps, that is when I can just let the agents execute, also in parallel and across Codex+Claude Code. It helps giving them these quardrails so they stay on track and they can check eachothers work.
