No one wants to hear it right now, but this is another reason to price art NFTs in USD.
It does not make sense for artists to be paid 30% lower compared to last week for the same work.
Once we flip gold and we've become the stable unit of account, then price in ETH or BTC. But what's even better long term is to let the buyer and seller choose their currency of choice independently and settle instantly at transaction time.
If your main argument against this is the casino chip effect and you're afraid it'll lead to lower prices, then perhaps prices should be lower? I'd much rather people buy art they love at fair prices and hold for years than gamble for a quick flip in 2-3 months.
