🔥 so today was filled with a bit of drama. Fried some food & forgot to switch of gas & in a minute the oil turned into flames.. didn’t panic much but forgot to turnoff exhaust & didn’t find the fire extinguisher 🧯 so tried water & one drop of water just exploded & then covered it with a bigger plate but it wasn’t enough then quick thinking by mum & i brought sand bucket 🪣 & voila fire doused in 2 seconds. Tips for you. Entire family should know the place of fire extinguisher. No need to panic. Don’t touch water. Get everyone out of kitchen. I literally sent mum & wife outside as everyone is trying to douse with their own knowledge. Sand/ mud works like a charm. Do not resume cleaning asap. Turn off exhausts. We had two. 1 chimney & 1 side exhaust. This probably fueled the fire. Stay safe. Work for tomorrow paint 🎨 the kitchen white.
