📌 Our Talik-hyung has come to his senses. x.com/VitalikButerin/status/20... Vitalik recently criticized Ether L2s. He supported ENS abandoning its own L2 and switching to Ethereum-only. He's started using some pretty strong language. Personally, I really like this change. To be honest, for the past year or two, Vitalik and Ethereum's direction has been to slightly distribute L2s, and take care of those around them -> through this, to achieve the ultimate goal of becoming as large as Ethereum. But after experimenting with it for a while, he realized that this doesn't work when dealing with people, not code... and, being a realist, it feels like he's chanting, "Everyone gather on Ether L1!!!" This is correct. Everyone should gather on Ether for now. Taking care of outsiders is only possible after taking care of yourself and your own people. Taking care of outsiders at the expense of those around you and yourself = meddling. Personally, if Ethereum is heading in this direction, I'm very excited for the next 1-2 years.
