According to Frank Chaparro, Project Director at The Block, Wells Fargo posted a head of digital asset services position four days ago. Responsibilities include developing a three- to five-year strategy covering tokenized deposits, on-chain collateral, intraday liquidity, and 24/7 programmable payments—with full integration with wire transfers, ACH, RTP, FedNow, and SWIFT.
Shortly before, Morgan Stanley and JPMorgan Chase also hired senior leaders in the cryptocurrency field.
