Enterprises are starting to provide services for agents, and two things have quietly happened: ▪️ Cloudflare @Cloudflare announced that it will automatically convert web pages to Markdown format and send them back to the AI Agent. ▪️ Chrome @googlechrome released WebMCP, allowing websites to directly expose structured tools for the Agent to call. One is that the Agent no longer needs to consume an entire page of HTML to understand the content (which consumes too much of my tokens). The other is that the Agent no longer needs to pretend to be a human to click buttons. Previously, my Agent using a browser needed to take screenshots, find buttons, and simulate clicks, taking most of the day for simple tasks. These two things combined mean that major companies have begun to treat AI Agents as first-class citizens. The web for humans relies on HTML rendering and interactive clicks. The web for agents relies on Markdown to convey semantics and tool calls to complete tasks. The same website is starting to have two interfaces. The competitive dimension is also changing. In the past, it was SEO, getting search engines to find you. Next will be AEO, Agent Engine Optimization. Whoever packages their capabilities into tools or skills that agents can directly utilize will be selected first. The future is one shared by humans and agents; the infrastructure is beginning to take shape. #openclaw
