Crypto used to be a 95% narrative, 5% fundamentals market. That ratio has changed in recent years. Today it’s closer to 60% fundamentals, 40% narrative. And yes, fundamentals are still a narrative too. The difference is that the market now cares whether the story connects to reality. Protocols that generate fees, have real users, or drive actual demand get attention. Tokens that don’t slowly bleed out.
