The reason why crypto taxes suck is bc of Coinbase. I reached out to Coinbase in June. They said they already finished RFP in May awarding Cointracker. So basically right after tax season they awarded it. I asked if I could’ve participated? They said: no. I’ve gotten this for 2 years straight. Coinbase invested in Cointracker. The problem with this is what happens is it goes against competition. If the biggest crypto company only awards one company (they invested in) every single year. It stifles competition. And it leads to worse products This is why crypto tax software products sucked for so long.
