The cat is already out of the bag with AI for significantly stronger mass surveillance. Anthropic being based is a bandaid: now a market opportunity for another company to fill this gap. The durable counterweight here is accelerating the capabilities and access to tech that equip the individual against censorship and coercion. I really hope to see these tools advance in tandem with AI. Cryptographically secure private property, private payments, private communications, private identity, and private compute. The free and wandering mind shielded by math, unbeholden to the ebbs and flows of policy.
