According to Mars Finance, Yu Xian, founder of SlowMist, posted on the X platform: "Those who don't trust OpenClaw's stability or resilience, but are quite confident in Claude Code, which is one of the core goals of software engineering. Both companies place great emphasis on security, and submitted vulnerabilities receive timely feedback. Some OpenClaw forks or reference versions are much less proactive in terms of security. In security scenarios, although OpenClaw also has a Sandbox mechanism and attempts to make more granular designs for tool permissions, as its name 'OpenClaw' suggests, 'open' is its greatest charm. A restrictive OpenClaw is not OpenClaw. The desire for both freedom and control is a point of contention, but in a real production environment, an overly free OpenClaw is prone to getting out of control."
