Some countries are tax havens. Other countries are social hellholes. France manages the feat of being both a social haven and a tax hellhole. It's a place where you're given money for doing nothing, and the more wealth you produce, the more you're punished for it. It's no wonder that nobody wants to invest, create businesses and jobs here, and that all the most productive people leave for other countries. You don't need to be a math whiz to understand that the system shown in the image below can only work for so long, and that the country is headed straight for disaster.
