The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has asked a court to retry Roman Storm, founder of the crypto mixing protocol Tornado Cash, on certain charges, Eleanor Terrett, host of Crypto in America, reported on X. The DOJ is seeking a retrial on two counts—money laundering and sanctions violations—on which the jury was unable to reach a verdict. A trial date has been proposed for early October.
