On March 12, Binance posted on social media that the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the Northern District of Alabama dismissed hundreds of anti-terrorism lawsuits filed against Binance and its founder CZ last week, reiterating the legal standards required to bring such serious allegations.
Binance retweeted a public response from the Democratic side of the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee, which had previously mentioned Binance's 2023 admission of violating Iran sanctions and involvement in money laundering charges, as well as Trump's pardon of CZ. In its statement, Binance emphasized its continued cooperation in enforcing sanctions laws and its expectation to work with both parties.
