This incident appears to have occurred while utilizing Aave's swap function.

Last December, Aave switched its swap router from Paraswap to Cowswap (a complex governance dispute).

Cowswap failed to properly return the results for illiquid Aave deposit tokens,
and users agreed to 100% slippage and swapped, creating a total mess.

As a result, Blockbuilder Titan was able to scrape together $30M, and MEV bots were able to scrape together hundreds of ETH.
