According to ChainCatcher, Paradigm VP Justin Slaughter posted on the X platform that Paradigm has released its first poll of the year, its first survey on prediction markets. The results show that over one-third (approximately 36%) of American voters have used prediction markets, either betting or browsing them for information. Furthermore, most Americans currently lack a clear attitude towards prediction markets. Even among the 95% of Americans who have heard of prediction markets, nearly half (including prediction market users) do not have a clear opinion.
In terms of user demographics, prediction market users under 50 years old accounted for 66%, with those aged 18-34 accounting for 20% and those aged 35-49 accounting for 27%. Non-white voters used prediction markets slightly more than white voters, and men used prediction markets significantly more than women (46% vs. 31%).
