ChainCatcher reports that US President Trump stated, "For me, the most important decision has been tariffs. The court knows my position is firm, how much I wanted to win this victory for our country, but the decision could hand trillions of dollars to countries and companies that have been taking advantage of the US for decades. Our Supreme Court has made these countries very happy, but as the court pointed out, I have the absolute right to impose tariffs in another form, and I have already begun to do so."
On February 20, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that Trump's trade tax policy was illegal.
