DAO governance platform Tally announces it is ceasing operations.

According to Mars Finance, Tally, a DAO infrastructure provider, has announced its closure. The platform had been operating for six years. Its CEO, Dennison Bertram, stated that the strict regulatory environment under the Biden administration, when SEC Chairman Gary Gensler was in charge, had previously encouraged projects to use DAOs for decentralized governance to reduce legal risks. However, the current more relaxed regulatory environment has made DAO governance no longer a necessary option, thus reducing the demand for governance tools.
